UUIN in TOKYO | “BLOOMING TAIWAN” POP-UP

In the spring of 2025, UUIN teamed up with "BLOOMING TAIWAN" to participate in Tokyo Fashion Week, holding a four-day pop-up exhibition on the 12th floor of Shibuya landmark SHIBUYA SCRAMBLE SQUARE to present the spring and summer series "Rain City".

Inspired by Keelung, the "Rainy City," this exhibition draws on historical context from 19th-century French nautical charts, translating them into a contemporary sartorial language. Blue, gray, and white create a cool harbor-themed atmosphere, while morning light pink adds a soft touch, weaving together a rhythm of strength and softness in the city. The works on display blend the structure of sailor uniforms, the texture of raindrops, and the geometric composition of the rainbow-colored houses of Zhengbin Fishing Harbor. Through the interplay of fabric and image, viewers can experience the poetry woven by the island's humidity.

On-site scenery and exhibition experience

The exhibition space adopts an open-plan configuration, allowing visitors to touch the fabric samples on display and experience the texture of the interwoven lightweight materials.
