2025AW Le Port x Taipei Fashion Week

Inspiration comes from the design director's hometown, Keelung, and the memory of the harbor is transformed into fashion language. Fully recycled fabrics are used throughout the design, and 100% recyclable and sustainable materials are selected to allow fashion to be intertwined with daily life and coexist with the environment.

This time, we collaborated with the Taipei Fine Arts Museum to use the painting "Port (Keelung)" by Mr. Ni Jianghuai, Taiwan's first watercolor painter, as inspiration and incorporated it into fabric printing as the beginning of this series.

The boxy silhouette, wide coat, work jacket and sailor collar, which are inspired by the image of shipping containers, are complemented by the details of the clothing, including the inspection logo of the Fortress Command.

Echoing the military rule of Keelung Port in the 1930s, it showcases contemporary fashion and functional design while narrating the memories and stories of a bygone era.

The image of the rainy city in misty grey tones cleverly presents Keelung’s humid and changeable climate. The design uses the layering technique of long and short windbreakers.

It adds visual layers and shows a style that is both functional and fashionable.

Finally, I would like to conclude with Ni Jianghuai's painting "Harbor (Keelung)". The smooth and light nylon fabric makes the colors and brushstrokes of the painting fall naturally on the body.

As the steps flow, it is as if waves and ships are drifting and rising on the fabric.

Delicate pleats and large areas of fluffy stacking gently evoke the image of waves pushing forward a quiet harbor, showcasing a poetic aesthetic that interweaves tranquility and movement.
